                     "Serving Christ, Celebrating Life"

It is our mission at FBC of Three Springs to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world, especially our own community. We thank you for reading our devotionals every week. Our only ask is that you share them with your friends and family that you love and care about. God is good, and His Word is powerful.

We also ask that if this website or our devotionals are a blessing to you, share our pages and what is on them with your loved ones and people you think would benefit from them. Also, please "Like" if you don't mind, that way those who see them would believe what YOU do, in Jesus' Name!

In Romans 1Paul addresses the Gentile believers at Rome and begins by explaining his mission, which was to preach the gospel to everyone.

He (Paul) concludes his explanation by saying, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: ‘The righteous will live by faith’” ([Romans 1:16–17]

Why Are We Here?

In the Book of JOB, he asks: "IF A PERSON DIES, WILL HE LIVE AGAIN?"

Friends, It is one of our goals to answer those types of questions for you ---

First Baptist Church exists to lead people to a life-changing relationship with Jesus. No matter what you’ve been through or what questions you might have or where you are on your spiritual journey, our church is a place where you’ll find the grace, mercy, and forgiveness Jesus gives to everyone.  We like to see ourselves as "A Port in the Storm" for those who are searching, and "A Lighthouse on a Hill" for those who may have lost their Way.

We invite you to worship with us this Sunday!

Sunday School is at 9:00 AM

Worship is at 10:00 AM

Keeping You In The LOOP

Worship services are casual at First Baptist Church. Many people wear jeans or dress "business casual." We encourage you to arrive about 10 to 15 minutes before Sunday school starts so you can grab a cup of coffee and a snack and meet people. Our services, Sunday school and Worship, start with prayer and music, often songs or hymns you might recognize.

Our pastor or a deacon or qualified teacher shares a Bible-based message with practical application to help you live out your faith during the week.  Some services we celebrate communion, but there’s no pressure to participate if you don’t want to and you don't have to be a member of our church if you do.  Services are an hour, and then you’re welcome to hang out and talk with people afterward.

If you have little children, we have a team of loving, trained volunteers (moms and dads) in our secure nursery area.  For other children, we have Children’s Church - fun, up-beat classes that includes games and a Bible lesson taught at their level.  We encourage older students to join in the adult service.

Then stay for an uplifting worship service conducted by our Pastor, Todd Griest.

WE also have a super interesting Bible Study on Wednesdays at 10:00 AM.

We also have extra curriculum activities for the children.

There is a young kid's club, and an older kid's club. (4:12 Youth) Everyone is more than welcome to come and share in the fun!

Our Beliefs

Bible. We believe the Bible, consisting of 66 books, to be the inspired Word of God, without error, the revelation of His will for the salvation of all people, and the divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life.

God. We believe in one God existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. God has always been and will always be the only God. There were none before Him and shall be none after him.

The Father. We believe that the Father, along with the Son (In the Beginning was the Word) created all things in heaven and on earth. He created human beings out of a love for us and desires a personal relationship with each of us.

Jesus. We believe that Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life and died on the cross as the sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. Furthermore, He arose bodily from the dead called the resurrection, and ascended into heaven, and is now on the Throne.

Holy Spirit. We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to convict all people, making them aware of their sin and the salvation available through Jesus Christ, our Lord. He regenerates, guides, instructs, and empowers the believer for godly living and service.

Man. We believe that man was created in the image of God and sinless, but fell into sin and is therefore lost and subject to judgment. (For it is appointed unto ALL Men to die once, then the Judgment) There is nothing man can do to save himself from this judgment, but he can accept the death of Jesus' punishment in place of his own eternal death by acknowledging God and accepting the free gift of salvation.

Salvation. We believe that the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ provides the only way of justification and salvation for all who believe. Any who attach additional works of man as a requirement for salvation are false in that they infer Jesus’ death is insufficient in and of itself to save and that human beings somehow have the capability to save themselves. Only through Christ is Salvation possible.

Accepting the Sinner, Denouncing the Sin. We believe that no sin is too big for God to forgive. Therefore, as Christians we should be open and eager to share the Gospel with everyone regardless of their sin or affliction. However, making Jesus Lord of our lives means striving towards holiness and turning from our sinful ways. Therefore, while being open to all sinners, Christians ought not accept, ignore, or promote any sin as permissible. God wishes for no person to perish.
